City of Hope Family Center Donation

The project is to raise $1 million to fund cutting edge research currently being conducted and to be continued at the City of Hope to find a cure and/or better treatments for Type 2 Diabetes.  (As you know, the City of Hope is where research that resulted in the artificial insulin used worldwide took place.  Lions International adopted a goal 3 years ago to fight diabetes (and hopefully eradicate it) worldwide.  This City of Hope project is an effort primarily of California Lions to support this cause.
